Creative Practice.

I am also an artist.

My creative work is an extension of the same principles that guide my consulting, coaching, and facilitation: care, reflection, cultural storytelling, identity, belonging, and imagination as tools for transformation.

This page holds the expressive side of my practice, the projects, concepts, and collaborations that live beyond traditional formats.

Art as Praxis

Across visual art, collage, writing, workshops, and participatory projects, I explore themes of:

  • Queer and BIPOC joy

  • Eldest daughterhood and intergenerational identity

  • Memory, ancestry, and storytelling

  • Care as resistance

  • Tenderness, grief, and resilience

  • Collective imagination and worldbuilding

The collage includes flowers, a mountain goat with curved horns, gemstones, and space imagery, with the labels 'astro collage,' 'yoojifflows,' and the zodiac sign 'Capricorn'.
A digital collage featuring a drag queen with platinum blonde hair and vibrant makeup, set against a sunset background. The collage includes sunflowers, red hibiscus flowers, a lioness, a microphone, and red crystal-like formations. The text 'astro collage' and the Leo zodiac symbol are at the top, with the artist name 'yoojifflows' at the bottom.
A collage featuring a woman sitting on rocks near water, surrounded by flowers, leaves, a goat, crystals, candles, and celestial elements like the moon and stars, representing the zodiac sign Taurus.
A woman in indigenous attire holding a circular object, surrounded by blue flowers, a planet with rings, a mountain landscape, a moon, and ice. A large blue moon is in the background with the word 'Aquarius' at the bottom.

Seoul Signs

Seoul Signs is a reimagining of the zodiac through the lens of where I was born, Seoul, South Korea. Each symbol blends the familiar curves of the Western zodiac with Eastern patterns, textures, and motifs rooted in Korean art and culture. The series is an exploration of identity and belonging: how our stars and our roots intertwine, how heritage can reshape what we think we already know, and how cosmic archetypes take on new life when seen through the designs of Seoul!
