Libra Szn Forecast: Romanticizing Community Care. yoojiflows October 2025 Newsletter
Welcome to Libra season and the start of Fall. Today is a crisp 60 degrees- just what I've been waiting for!!
Virgo season demanded so much from many of us--physically, energetically, and emotionally. This Libra season brings more flow, more relational opportunities, and more inspiration to embody and act on our values in delightful, community-centered ways. Where Virgo season had us lock in face some of our shadows, Libra season presents many opportunities to flow and heal in community. A great reminder that your healing does not happen solo or in a vacuum.
Libra is also ruled by the planet Venus, the planet of love, beauty, aesthetics, pleasure. Combining venutian and Libra themes can show us how activism and care can be pleasurable and lovely: think free stores, clothing swaps, birthday parties, potlucks, stocking your local pantry, and attending fundraisers that double as dance parties…the perfect way to balance the justice and beauty that is Libra.
As the seasons transition, it is critical to take deep care as many of us prepare for winter and for more darkness. Hold onto one another, beloveds.
Reflection questions for this season:
1. How can you set the rituals to prepare for the future you?
Stocking up on your favorite non-perishable foods, committing to your breathwork practice, and planning friend hangs weeks in advance are ideas.
2. What can you do to balance the pulling needs of your communities and your own well-being?
Write a list of your core needs and don't leave anything out. Organize them by categories that make sense to you (physical, emotional, spiritual, material, etc). Now write out some of the known needs of two of your closest friends. Where do your needs differ and overlap? Where can you fill gaps or ask for support for yours?
3. How can we romanticize community care as our salve, our medicine, our joy?
In what ways do you slip into romanticizing suffering, pain, and self-centeredness? How can you reflect on how your suffering is shared? Connected to others? How can reaching out for help, being of service, and practicing the messiness and beauty of community support you?
